Photography

While the content and style may vary, a few elements should remain the same. The photo diagram below highlights important elements to consider when selecting or creating photos and videos. By following these guidelines we can create consistency that allows viewers to recognize an NYCM photo or video without seeing our logo.

Shadows and blacks are a true black. Should not appear matte.

Logo and relevant title should be centered over the orange rectangle. For text design, consult the typography section for more information.

When possible the focal object or subject should have orange.

Overall feel of photos- bright, true to color, and clean with a little bit of contrast.

For social posts: create a rectangle using our primary orange. This rectangle should cover around 20% of space. For example, on an Instagram post (1080x1080 px) the rectangle should be around 140 px in height.

NYCM uses a variety of video methods to represent our brand. We have created commercials in an animation style, live action, and more. While the content and style of our videos may vary, a few elements should remain the same. Examples of our videos can be found below or on our YouTube Channel
